If I didn't mention it you probably wouldn't even realise this was taken right next to Western Australia's infamous "Sugarloaf Rock" along the sensational coastline of Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park. #lookbehindyou :)
Truth be told, I was actually there to shoot the spectacular rock formation at sunrise - it would have been taboo not to as it's almost an Aussie landscape photographer's rite of passage when visiting this part of the country... but with stunning light like this creeping over the horizon and painting the landscape many shades of blood orange, it was, really, pretty impossible to resist.
I was also being eaten alive by mosquitoes just standing in the one spot but that's a minor detail that doesn't read as excitingly! I certainly look forward to returning one day and exploring this coastline some more. Oh, and please excuse the play on words in the image title!
