Our Print Process
AustralianLight takes pride in presenting images that are produced using only the best papers, canvases and inks from the world's largest manufacturers.
Our Gloss Metallic paper offers a supurb high gloss finish, combined with a metallic sheen that almost seems luminescent under dedicated lighting. While this is our standard paper for all orders, it is limited to prints of less than 110cm on the shortest side (inc borders/mattes). Larger images will be printed on our excellent high gloss non-metallic paper.
Our Canon printers only use the manufacturer's quality inks and our papers/canvases have been rated as Archival by the The Wilhelm Research Institute, with a print permanence in excess of 40/100 years.
The archival lifespan of our paper prints is further enhanced by our modern Floating Acrylic mounting process, that effectively seals the image from the environmental elelments that may damage your print.
Our canvases are sprayed with Aquathane Laminate for added protection. Aquathane provides your canvas with high flexibility, extra scratch resistance, anti-fungal ultra clear finish and most importantly, a superior Ultra Violet Light Blocking Ability.
* We believe Acrylic mounting to be the very best of presentation options available today, but we are happy to offer the more traditional Paper Matte & Frame presentation on request, please Contact Us for your personalised quotation.
