I had been telling myself, surely, surely there'll be other photographers out this morning - I mean, it's Dicky Beach and the infamous wreck of the S.S Dicky after all - one of the most photographed bits of coastline on the Sunshine Coast.
The EPSON International Pano Awards showcases the work of panoramic photographers worldwide and is the largest competition for panoramic photography, normally receiving entries by the thousands.
This is our very first venture into the awards and we are happy to announce that the following images received recognition from an international panel of judges....
Bernie's Nikon D800E has finally arrived and I have to say that the resolution & detail from this 36mp monster sensor is quite amazing!
That said, it didn't take long to strike a problem. :(
As the megapixel numbers grow on a camera's sensor, so does the amount of detail that the sensor can render. This puts more and more strain on the lenses to perform, as they need the resolving power to at least match what the sensor can record....
