Bordered by water on both sides and perched out on the tip of a peninsula, Wellington Point is always a hit with locals and visitors alike. Plenty of recreational areas, BBQs, a much photographed jetty, and a view towards the sunset in the West! Here on the East coast, one would have to drag themselves out of bed for a sunrise just to get the sun over the water, but not at "Wello"!
A popular spot for photographers, especially myself in this particular instance - where I enjoyed a calming wade through water almost up to my waist - anything to get the shot! - Bernie
